Chris has been having chronic headaches lately and I don't know what's going on.  I worried about it a bit-called my mom and aunt for advice, actually.   This journal entry is probably the way he'll find out I'm so worried.  Besides that both my mom and aunt called while he was here today and both asked about him... er, yeah.

Good news: I HAVE SOCKS! AND A SOAP DISH.

I got the higest score on my algebra assignment.  Me!  My resourcefulness.  I suck at some stuff... but linear algebra?  Back away, I OWN Jordan form.  For now.  Ha.

This article blows my mind out of the water. It seems to me that math doesn't need to be entertaining, but it's there for the wonder and awe. If you can't get "wow" moments in math education, it's not worth teaching. AND I want this study replicated before I say more. It actually makes me a little mad ( Read more... )
